The best tapas around Sitges

It is for various reasons that Sitges is known as an ideal tourist destination. Its beaches, events, cultural diversity and festivals make thousands of visitors choose this place to spend their vacations every year.

The quantity and quality of tourism that has been in Sitges for decades has made the area’s gastronomic offer go up to an exceptional level, with an enormous variety of options and numerous original and innovative proposals. Good restaurants in Sitges abound, and in this post we come to talk specifically about the ones we like the most for tapas!

The tapas dynamic seems to us to be a perfect option to taste all kinds of flavors in the same dinner – several dishes are shared in the center of the table instead of being limited to a single personal dish, for which there is the possibility of trying many more things and knowing further Mediterranean cuisine.

Among our Sitges favorites are:

El Cable

This bar, founded in 1940, is located between San Sebastián beach and Cap de la Vila, it is set in its origins and it’s said that their patatas bravas are the best in Sitges. They have a wide and very good tapas menu and have won several awards thanks to them.

La pícara

Going down to the sea on Calle San Pere, they offer a select wine cellar and several delicious tapas and portions.

Nem

Located in the center of Sitges, in Nem you will find a short but spectacular menu that varies dishes. They offer creative versions and exotic flavors that never leave you indifferent.

Guria

A Basque tavern at the foot of the promenade with pintxos, tapas and spectacular dishes. Don’t forget to try their steak or their desserts!
