We know it, it is the sad time of the year when it’s time to say goodbye to beach days, summer nights, our beloved vacations… but we’re here to remind you that the party never ends in Sitges!
That’s why we’ve made a list of the most relevant and influential events of this beautiful town, in which we think you might be interested and will encourage you to book your winter holidays in Sitges. Because it has so much more to offer besides sun and beach..:
Sitges Cheese Fest – September 27th-29th
A festival that celebrates its second edition this year, and had a great success in the first one. Several artisans make their way to the seafront of Sitges to present their carefully crafted product, and for you to try it! A great opportunity to taste spectacular cheeses from all parts of Spain.
Fantastic film festival – from October 3 to 13
World-famous, the Sitges fantastic film festival attracts filmmakers and cinema freaks from around the world to watch movie previews, meet great actors like Susan Sarandon or Nicolas Cage (who attended the festival last year), or fans of horror movies that come especially for the well-known, looong movie marathons. Also remember that, of course, there are thousands of activities because of the festival during its celebration.
Zombie walk – October 5
If we were talking about horror movies, on this day Sitges becomes one. A huge parade of the living dead begins when the sun sets, and all the zombies can join! A scary but unique experience and fascination for the spectacular makeup and costumes that you’ll see. You decide if you want to participate or better stay as a viewer.
Tapa a tapa – dates to be confirmed
Normally over the month of November, more than 40 establishments offer their tapas specially prepared for the occasion, accompanied by a small beer, water or wine for only 3€! A week in which the streets of Sitges are filled with life and good gastronomy.
