It’s finally here! The Gay pride of Sitges is happening from 8th to 12th of June
With the main parade happening on the 11th. Celebrating its 8th anniversary.
Gay Pride is more and more popular and is becoming one of Europe most prised gay events. There will be events happening throughout the week-end, including famous DJ’s, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Abba, Lady Diamond, a special tribute to George Michael and many more.
Since it’s the 8th anniversary this year promises to be bigger than any other year. A bigger open air stage has been installed which is also right by the sea side, with the main bar being opened throughout the weekend.
During the exclusive press conference, Luis Enriquez and Lady Diamond opened the start of the Gay Pride with a speech, thanking all their sponsor and, city of Sitges for welcoming them each year with open arms. They also wanted to explain that most of the benefice will go to the Russian LGBT association, who are helping LGBT communities to move away from Chechnya where right now their human rights are not being respected.
This year the parade which is always one of the biggest events and also the one that attracts many tourists from everywhere will be happening at the time in Washington DC, Canada and Australia. Transforming this glorious parade into a worldwide event.
