Announcement of the carnival queen
With less than a week ahead of the arrival of Carnival, the warming up acts begin.
Last Saturday, Sitges was able to admire the proclaimed Carnival Queen 2018. Between parades through the neighborhood, everyone could enjoy the presentation show at the Prado Theater, where the Queen made her speech and performed an amazing show with her group and also with several dance students from the Institute of the Arts. The children’s queen was also chosen on Sunday, between choreographies and a show next to the Queen’s group at the Prado Theater.
Although it seems the Carnival hasn’t started, we can’t wait to meet King Carnestoltes and officially inaugurate the Carnival, it’s practically around the corner!!!
